Welcome to our website outlining updated proposals to bring forward a commercially-led masterplan that will include public realm improvements including a connection to the flagship “Low Line” initiative and new offices, commercial units, shops and restaurants in both 33 Bear Lane and the adjoining railway arches.
Acorn and Galliard have a well-established history working together in Southwark, having combined to bring about the redevelopment of 18 Great Suffolk Street and 3A Bear Lane. Most recently in SE1 they completed the Trilogy scheme with Trinity House creating sixty-four new apartments on the site of the former County Court building on Harper Road next to Trinity Village Estate.
A public exhibition of initial proposals to develop the land at 33 Bear Lane was held in January 2020. Following feedback from key stakeholders both at Southwark Council and within the local community these plans have been updated to respond to the feedback received earlier this year.
Acorn Property Group and Galliard Homes acquired the land at 33 Bear Lane in December 2018 with a view to creating a “creative hub”comprising a mixture of offices, commercial units, shops and restaurants.
